You are a charged metal sphere loose in a vertical high-voltage shaft, and the floor is molten plasma climbing fast behind you. Magneto-Hop is about reading one magnetic node at a time: the nearest terminal is always highlighted, and your own polarity decides whether it pulls you in (a calm green tractor line) or shoves you away (a jagged red blast). Flip your charge to switch between them, settle into a node’s pull to steady yourself, then flip to push and launch upward. Climb as high as you can before the plasma takes you.
Only the highlighted node affects you, so the force is never a mystery — you always know exactly where the pull or push is coming from. Pull yourself to a node to stabilize, line up your angle, then flip to fling. A well-timed push — flipping the instant you’re beside a node — launches you in a burst far faster than thrusters ever could. The plasma starts gentle but never stops speeding up, so climbing truly high means chaining those launches to stay ahead of it.
🕹️ Controls
- 🅾️ (Z) — Flip Polarity: Switch between pulling toward and pushing away from the highlighted node. The ring around it turns green (pull) or red (push) so you always know what the flip will do.
- ❎ (X) — Brake: Hold to dampen your momentum and steady yourself. Your safety net whenever things get fast.
- ⬅️➡️⬆️⬇️ — Thrusters: Steer in flight and walk yourself around a node to aim your next launch.
⚡ Hazards
- The Plasma Floor: A rising wall of disintegration that only speeds up. There’s a short grace period at the start — after that, keep climbing.
- Read Before You Fling: A push launches you straight away from the node, so where you are when you flip decides where you go. Get above a node, then flip to push, to rocket upward.
